“For freedom Christ has set us free…” — Galatians 5:1

God has designed us to walk in freedom—free from the weight of sin, the pain of our past, and the lies that hold us back. Freedom Groups at Providence Church are designed to help you experience the abundant life Jesus promises by bringing the hope of the gospel into every corner of your life.
Whether you’re navigating a challenging season or simply want to deepen your relationship with God, Freedom Groups create a space for healing, growth, and transformation through community and biblical truth.

What to Expect

Freedom Groups are weekly gatherings where you’ll explore gospel-centered truths about identity, surrender, forgiveness, and spiritual authority. Together, we’ll learn how to remove the barriers that keep us from fully knowing and enjoying God.

Each Freedom Group includes:

  • A 13-week study focused on biblical transformation
  • 2-hour weekly gatherings filled with Scripture, discussion, and reflection
  • Groups separated by gender to foster trust and safe conversation
  • Childcare available, dependent on need

Cost: $40/person (covers materials and event costs)

Freedom Group Topics Include:

  • Freedom by Design: We were created to be dependent on our Father and to worship
  • Freedom Lost: How sin separates us from the Father and how Christ redeems us
  • Freedom Redeemed: Christ is the true gift
  • Freedom Restored: Abiding in Christ alone and living in His forgiveness
  • Freedom Embraced: Forgiving others, and finding hope in suffering

Why Freedom Groups Matter

Jesus didn’t just save us from sin—He saved us for a life of freedom, joy, and purpose. But sometimes our past experiences, hidden struggles, or spiritual confusion can get in the way. Freedom Groups are here to help you take your next step with Christ in a community that walks with you—not in shame, but in hope.

Sinners restored to Christ.
Sufferers comforted in Christ.
Wanderers brought back to Christ.
