Providence Academy is a two-day/week preschool in Frisco, Texas, designed to promote the academic and spiritual development of children, from ages 18 months to 5 years. Providence Academy is open throughout the school year on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
ABOUT PROVIDENCE ACADEMY
Our passion is to see children’s lives changed in their knowledge and pursuit of Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to extend the ministry of Providence Church by combining safe, responsible care with biblically based education for preschoolers. Our teachers are degreed educators and are passionate about providing an enriching learning experience in a safe and loving environment. They share the love of Jesus as they help your child learn and grow.
Our curriculum is based on lessons and stories from the Bible. Inside of these stories and lessons, students will learn the core academics: number sense, letter recognition and reading, handwriting, colors and shapes, and many more. All lessons and activities are age-appropriate.

WHO IS PROVIDENCE ACADEMY FOR?
Providence Academy is open to the public and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. You don’t have to attend or be a member of Providence Church to register your child.
We welcome children ages 18 months through five years into Providence Academy. The placement in each class is based on the age of the child as of September 1 of the current school year. For instance, if your child is 2 years old between September 1, 2020, and August 31, 2021, then they will be placed in the 2-year old room.
ABOUT OUR CURRICULUM
We use a combination of Biblical teaching and academics in our lessons. Each day will be broken up with whole group instruction, small group time to play cooperatively, and hands-on activities. Children will not only acquire academic skills, but also social skills and friendship building.
