Pray

God, thank you for giving us rest. You created us with limitations and command us to rest so we will remember that you are our Provider and we depend on You. Help us rest in You today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Play

Choose a fun activity to do together as your family rests from work. Here are some examples:

• Dress up and put on a play
• Call a family member or friend you have not spoken to in a while and encourage them with the word of God
• Visit the nearest lake or river and throw rocks to see them make ripples
