God, thank you for giving us rest. You created us with limitations and command us to rest to remember You and all You provide. Help us rest in You today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Choose an activity to do together as you rest as a family. 

(Activity ideas: Write a letter to a leader in your community or church letting them know you are praying for them, go on a bike ride, chalk your driveway or sidewalk with an encouraging message.)
